so apparently he said merdeka 7 times on the 31st of August 1957.

I looked at my malaysian studies paper and thought. HMMMM 3 or 7...3 or 7.

Can't be 3..thats such a Christian number,

Jesus fell down 3 times when carrrying the cross,
Jesus rose to life 3 days after his death,
the 3 wisemen,
3 people in one God.

Cannot be 3.

But then cannot be 7 either. I doubt Tunku stood there and cried Merdeka 7 times. Bound to get thirsty right the dude.
