stuck in the middle with you

I wasn't even going to do it.
Sure i thought about it. Who wouldn't?
Anyone in that situation would have considered it for a long time and actually gone ahead with it.
But i decided other wise. Figured i would do the right thing.
I thought that maybe after you sat me down and gave me your perspective the least I could do was TRY to understand because frankly I still don't.
But you did not even at least give me the benefit of the doubt.
In doing so denying me the one thing i had been looking forward to for 5 days.
And now 6.
